We all seem to know what we need to do in order to live healthier, happier, fulfilling lives. But I think the problem is that we don’t do what we know. We are quite happy continuing the routine of our daily lives – spending hours in front of the TV rather than taking a walk and enjoying the beauty of nature. We tend to forget that paths are taken by walking not waiting. Stress is part of our modern lives, we either swallow stress tablets or visit a therapist to help ourselves. It was only a few months ago that I found out that there is a far better method to help both body and mind.

According to my friends who practice yoga, regular yoga practice increases stamina, flexibility, stability and strength. Yoga can help reduce stress, improve concentration, and alleviate mood swings. It is said to bring awareness and the ability to be 'still'. So I am off to yoga class tomorrow morning. I decided to change the monotonous and comfortable routine I had gotten used to. Yes, I have been missing my favorite program on TV, but I’m finding yoga to be far more worthwhile!!
